Administrative Coordinator

Wendy joined our team in 2020 as our Administrative Coordinator. She brings organization and order to the office through project management, customer service, and scheduling tasks so our team can focus what matters most – our clients. Before she joined us at TRS, she had extensive experience in other administrative roles. She previously managed customers as a Virtual Administrative Assistant and then later went on to engineer and track production in the manufacturing sector. Her administrative experience is an asset to our team and day-to-day operations. She also became a GA Notary Public in 2019.

Wendy describes herself as being motivated, empathetic, and loyal. She is extremely positive and finds joy in finding the good in things. No matter the situation, the glass is always half full for Wendy. She most enjoys meeting and talking with customers in hopes of making them feel happy and comfortable. With her superb organization and communication skills, she makes sure our office runs smoothly for the benefit of everyone involved.

When not serving as our office’s organization extraordinaire, Wendy enjoys designing/creating everything from stickers and signs to clothing. She hopes to one day travel to see the Northern Lights in person and believes strongly in the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) as well as Autism Speaks.

Meet Zippy the Robotic Scarecrow

Hey guys!

I’m Zippy and I’m so glad I get to tell you a little bit about myself and the people who made me.

I guess we should start from the beginning, when I was put together.

I’m made of a lot of different parts – motherboards, cords, keyboards, videotapes, fax machines, and much more. Some of these parts are 15 – 20 years old! I guess you could say I’m as unique as it gets.

I’m made of so many different things that I look kind of scary and ya know, life has been hard because people judge a book by its cover and don’t always take the time to get to know me – just like they do when dealing with technology.

But luckily for me, I have Ink Spot - the best bird a scarecrow could ask for. One Halloween, I was moping around because I had scared yet ANOTHER kid when all I wanted to do was make a friend. As I was feeling sorry for myself, a precarious bird landed on my shoulder and asked what was wrong. And since then, I’ve had a friend that has never left my side – or rather my shoulder.

He’s always there for me when I need him. Not only is he there when everything goes wrong, but he’s also there for the day-to-day struggles. I don’t know what I would do without him.

Madelyn Montgomery

Creative Content Strategist

Madelyn is our Creative Content Strategist and joined us in 2019. She graduated from Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies which included studies in English, Communications, and History. During her time at Reinhardt, she worked in the university’s marketing department where she wrote everything from faculty/staff bios to school newsletter articles. Her writing extended beyond her work-study job, as she spent time writing a novel and was the co-author of an article recently published in the Georgia Historical Quarterly regarding the racial integration of Reinhardt College in the 1960’s.

Madelyn describes herself as being creative, thoughtful, task-oriented, and hopes that people remember her as making others feel seen, heard, and appreciated. When asked what skills she brings to the job, she responded that she is an avid lover of grammar and is excellent at written communication. Her top bucket list item is to travel to Greece to soak in the beauty and history.

An interesting fact about Madelyn is that she originally went to school as a Vocal Performance major, being trained in opera and classical music. While she realized her professional passion was for writing, she continued to be involved in choir and still has an intense and involved love of music. Madelyn also deeply cares about the availability of the arts in schools, so that students can cultivate their passions.

Harrison Jones

Technology Intern

Harrison is our Technology Intern who joined us in the Fall of 2019. He is currently pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems at Kennesaw State University and is studying for his A+ certification. Before joining us at Technical Resource Solutions, Harrison spent over five years in the animal care industry and is excited for his first technology-related position.

Harrison might be described as conscientious, resourceful, and a quick study, but in his free time you can find him playing tennis or fixing anything from cars to furniture to electronics. As far as how colleagues would describe him, Harrison said that they might say he is focused and friendly. His personal motto is “knowledge is power” and this is certainly evident when working with him. He is a diligent and motivated worker, enjoys seeing tasks through to their completion, and is excellent at staying upbeat and productive under pressure.

When asked about his #1 Bucket List item, he said that he hopes to earn a Wingsuit Flying certification, which requires you to have skydived 200 times in 18 months or 500 times total. Harrison cares a lot about the ongoing opioid epidemic, including the efforts of organizations and legislators to rectify it.

Joseph Hogg

Technology Specialist

Joseph Hogg joins Technical Resource Solutions as a valued member of our IT team. He is currently working on earning his Network and A+ certifications. Interestingly, after several years of working with computer hardware and managing numerous retail employees in the same role, Joseph has decided to put his expertise to work with Technical Resource Solutions. His background in management and customer service provide a strong foundation for just about any scenario or situation; he feels that an equal dose of stubbornness and resourcefulness have made him a natural at troubleshooting.

When asked what three words might be used to described him, he says that he is patient, diligent, and intuitive. As far as how his colleagues would describe him, Joseph says they would most likely say he is a hard worker and that he always has a smile on his face. His perfect motto in life is simply, “Life is good.” His No.1 item on his bucket list is a hard question for him to answer but he says it would be a vacation to any number of European countries, and New Zealand is also “pretty high up there” on the list.

As for causes that Joseph cares about, he is interested in the Electronic Frontiers Foundation (EFF), a leading nonprofit that defends digital privacy, free speech, and innovation. He says that while he is not associated with the organization, he appreciates the work that they do. When it comes to the one thing people will remember most about Joseph, he says that people tend to remember that even in the toughest of situations, he sees the positive side of things and always keeps a smile on his face.

Terms & Conditions - Hosting Agreement

Customer Services Agreement

This Customer Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is effective as of the date of acceptance and sign up, and is made by and between Technical Resource Solutions, LLC with offices located at 185 W. Main Street, Suite A, Canton, GA 30114 and 120 Arnold Mill Park, Suite 100, Woodstock, GA 30188 (“TRS”) and the party accepting hereto (the “Customer").

In consideration of the mutual promises contained in this Agreement and other good and valuable consideration, the parties agree as follows:

1. Scope of Agreement and Description of Services. From time to time, Customer may request, and TRS may provide, the services set forth in the schedules attached hereto (“Services”). The parties may agree upon the addition of multiple schedules as this Agreement may cover more than one Service at any given time.

2. Term. This Agreement shall be effective from the date set forth above and shall continue until terminated as set forth herein. Each schedule shall have its own term as specified therein (a “Schedule Term”). This Agreement can be terminated by either party giving to the other a written notice of termination. The notice of termination shall specify the effective date of such termination. Notwithstanding, in the event that this Agreement is terminated for convenience as set forth in this Section 2, any schedules in effect at the time of termination shall continue until the expiration of the Schedule Term, and shall continue to be governed by the terms of this Agreement as if there was no termination.

3. Fees; Payment.

a. Each schedule shall set forth the applicable fees for such Service. Rates may be subject to change. TRS shall notify Customer of any rate changes prior to the provision of any Services pursuant to the new rates, and Customer’s acceptance of such Services shall constitute Customer’s consent to the new rates.

b. Payment is due at the time of Service unless other credit terms have been agreed upon in writing and signed by all parties to this Agreement. If credit terms have been agreed upon, invoices will be submitted by TRS for payment by the Customer pursuant to such credit terms. Payment is due upon receipt and shall be past due if not received thirty (30) days from the date reflected on the invoice.

c. All fees, costs and expenses owed by Customer under this Agreement shall constitute a commercial account rather than a retail installment transaction. A finance charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid amount of an invoice will be charged on past due accounts. Payments by the Customer will thereafter be applied first to accrued interest and then to the principal unpaid balance. In the event Customer has an account which is past due, or fails to make payment at the time of services if no credit terms have been agreed upon, TRS may suspend performing further work for Customer (either pursuant to this Agreement or any other agreement for services between the parties) until such time as all amounts due and owing to TRS by Customer are paid in full. If at any time hereafter TRS employs counsel to pursue collection, then in such event, all of the reasonable attorneys' fees and costs relating thereto and any other fees and costs incurred by or on behalf of TRS due to the failure of the Customer to pay sums due hereunder when due and payable shall be a liability of the Customer to TRS, payable on demand.

4. Confidentiality. Both parties acknowledge that, in connection with this Agreement and its relationship with the other party, it may obtain information relating to the other party which is of a confidential and proprietary nature ("Confidential Information"). Such Confidential Information may include, but is not limited to, trade secrets, know how, inventions, techniques, processes, programs, schematics, software source documents, data, customer lists, financial information, and sales and marketing plans or information which is confidential, proprietary or trade secret information of the other party. Both parties shall at all times, both during the term of this Agreement and for a period of at least three (3) years after its termination, keep in trust and confidence all such Confidential Information, and shall not use such Confidential Information other than as expressly authorized by the disclosing party under this Agreement, nor shall the receiving party disclose any such Confidential Information to third parties without the disclosing party’s written consent. The receiving party further agrees to immediately return to the disclosing party all Confidential Information (including copies thereof) in such party’s possession, custody, or control upon termination or expiration of this Agreement at any time and for any reason. The obligations of confidentiality shall not apply to information which (a) has entered the public domain except where such entry is the result of the receiving party’s breach of this Agreement; (b) prior to disclosure hereunder was already rightfully in the receiving party’s possession; or (c) subsequent to disclosure hereunder is obtained by the receiving party on a nonconfidential basis from a third party who has the right to disclose such information to the receiving party. In the event Confidential Information is required to be disclosed pursuant to a court or administrative order, such discloser shall not violate the terms of this section so long as the other party is given adequate notice and the ability to challenge such required disclosure or to obtain an appropriate protective order.

5. Limitation of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties

a. TRS shall not be liable for any indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages, loss of profits or revenues, or exemplary damages of any kind, whether arising out of this Agreement or from any breach or partial breach of the provisions of this Agreement or arising out of any act or omission of any of the parties, or arising under theories of strict liability or tort, regardless of whether such party was advised, had other reason to know, or in fact knew of the possibility thereof. TRS’s total liability and Customer’s total remedy shall not exceed the total amount that has been paid by Customer to TRS for the Services which are subject to the breach in the prior twelve (12) months.


c. Customer, having been so informed, in further consideration of TRS's willingness to provide such Services, hereby releases and forever discharges and acquits TRS, its members, managers, employees, agents, attorneys, insurers, spouses heirs successors and assigns from any and all claims, counterclaims, actions, demands, cause or causes of action, suits, controversies, damages, judgments, executions, liabilities, or losses of any nature, costs, attorneys’ fees, and/or expenses of any nature in law or equity that may arise as a result of or in connection with the performance of the Services and not resulting from the gross negligence of TRS, its agents and employees.

6. Notices. Notices hereunder shall be effective when in writing and delivered personally, by certified mail return receipt requested, by registered mail, or through a commercial overnight delivery service which provides a receipt, to the parties at the address set forth on page 1.

7. Default; Opportunity to Cure Default.

a. Either party hereto may terminate this Agreement by written notice to the other party in any of the following events: (i) default or breach of any material term or condition of this Agreement by the other party which remain uncorrected for thirty (30) days after the party in default or breach receives written notice of default or breach from the other party; (ii) dissolution or liquidation of the other party; (iii) insolvency or bankruptcy of the other party, or institution of any proceeding by or against the other party under the provisions of any insolvency or bankruptcy law; (iv) appointment of a receiver for any of the other party’s property; (v) issuance of an order of execution against the property of the other party pursuant to a court judgment which is not removed within thirty (30) days; or (vi) substantial inability to perform or carry on its obligations under this Agreement

b. Neither party shall be in default under this Agreement unless and until the non-breaching party shall have given the breaching party written notice of such breach and the breaching party shall have failed to cure the same within thirty (30) days after receipt of such notice; provided, however, that where such breach cannot reasonably be cured within such thirty (30) day period, if the breaching party shall proceed promptly to cure the same and prosecute such curing with due diligence, the time for curing such breach shall be extended for such period of time as may be necessary to complete such curing. Upon the failure by the breaching party to timely cure any such breach after notice thereof from the non-breaching party, the non-breaching party shall have the option to take such action as it may determine, in its sole discretion, to be necessary to cure the breach. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, the parties’ legal remedies shall not be abridged.

c. In the event that a schedule is terminated either as a result of Customer’s termination for convenience, or as a result of TRS’ termination pursuant to Section 7(a), the parties acknowledge that the actual damages likely to result are difficult to estimate. Therefore, as liquidated damages and not a penalty, Customer shall remain liable for all payments due for the remainder of the Schedule Term.

8. Severability. If any one or more of the provisions of this Agreement should be ruled wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, then: (i) the validity and enforceability of all provisions of this Agreement not ruled to be invalid or unenforceable shall be unaffected; (ii) this Agreement shall be construed as if the provision(s), or portion(s) thereof, ruled wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable were not present; and (iii) the parties shall attempt in good faith to re-negotiate the terms of the unenforceable or invalid provisions(s) or the affected portion(s) thereof.

9. Governing Law. All matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, excluding its conflict of law provisions.

10. Survival. The parties' rights and obligations under this Agreement which, by their nature, would continue beyond the termination, cancellation, or expiration of this Agreement shall survive termination, cancellation or expiration of this Agreement.

11. Miscellaneous. In the event of Acts of God, war, governmental order or other similar cause beyond the reasonable control of a party hereto whose performance is affected thereby, such affected party shall not be liable for any failure or delay to perform its obligations under this Agreement. The schedule shall be extended for the same period as the affected period. This Agreement shall not be assigned or transferred without the prior written consent of the other party, except TRS shall have the right to assign, convey or otherwise transfer its rights, title, interest, and obligations under this Agreement, in whole or in part, to any entity controlled by, controlling or under common control of said party, or any entity into which TRS may be merged or consolidated or which purchases all or substantially all of its assets. No provision of this Agreement may be changed or modified in any manner, except by an instrument in writing signed by duly authorized representatives of both parties hereto. The failure of a party at any time to require performance by the other party of any provision of this Agreement shall in no way affect the right of that party to require performance of that provision. Any waiver by either party of any breach of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any continuing or succeeding breach of such provision, a waiver of the provision itself or a waiver of any right under this Agreement. The paragraph and section headings contained in this Agreement are for reference purposes only and shall not in any way control the meaning or interpretation of this Agreement.

TRS and Customer have executed this Agreement shall be effective as of the date of electronic acceptance and sign up.

Web Hosting Services

This Web Hosting Services Schedule (“Schedule”) is attached to and incorporated as an integral part of the Customer Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) by and between Technical Resource Solutions, LLC (“TRS”) and and the party accepting hereto (the “Customer") as of the date of acceptance and sign up (“Schedule Effective Date”). For purposes of this Schedule, all capitalized terms will have the same meaning set forth in the Agreement.

1. Services. TRS shall provide Customer with website hosting, SSL Certificate and backups (“Services”).

2. Schedule Term and Termination. The Schedule Term shall commence on the Schedule Effective Date and shall continue on a month to month basis until terminated by either party upon thirty (30) days’ prior written notice to the other. Upon expiration, Customer shall pay TRS for any Services performed through the date of termination.

3. Fees. Customer shall be invoiced monthly fees in the amount of $20.00 each month in advance. All fees as set forth herein shall be payable in accordance with the terms of Section 3(b) of the Agreement.

4. Ownership. Customer acknowledges that TRS may utilize a third-party data center to provide the Services (the “Platform”). By execution of this Schedule, Customer provides its consent for TRS to establish a Customer agent portal pursuant to the TRS account. Customer hereby releases TRS from any liability associated with such third-party provider.

5. Warranties. TRS warrants the following:
(a) it shall not utilize Customer information for purposes of marketing TRS services, and its provision of the Services shall be subject to the terms of the TRS Privacy Policy set forth at https://www.technicalrs.com/general-site-content/privacy-policy;
(b) It is authorized to provide the Services hereunder; and
(c) It shall pass through to Customer all applicable benefits afforded to it as an end user of an authorized partner of the Service Provider Supplier.

TRS does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error free, not does not make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service.

Office 365 Update

Office 365 is releasing a new semi-annual update with an AutoSave feature enabled by default. This will benefit those who worry about losing their changes while working on documents. 

It is important for all of our customers to be aware of this change so that there are no accidental changes to documents when working with templates, finalized documents and spreadsheets. 

AutoSave is enabled when a file is stored on OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, or SharePoint Online. It automatically saves your changes to the cloud as you are working. And, if other people are working on the same file, AutoSave lets them see your changes in a matter of seconds.

This change will apply in the upcoming Semi-Annual Channel release in late September and will initially apply to Targeted Release organizations, then it will become available in the Semi-Annual Channel release in January 2019 for all Office 365 organizations.

Arlene Dickerson

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Arlene is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Technical Resource Solutions, LLC (TRS). She works with new and existing clients on both Web & IT projects. Her primary role is Director of Web Design & Development; she is also the lead for all client related business software migration projects. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, experience with numerous complex business tools and accounting packages including an advanced working knowledge of Excel. Arlene has over 25 years of experience with a strong background in accounting system conversions on both PC and mainframe platforms. Prior to co-founding TRS, Arlene held several senior positions such as Controller, Director of Financial Reporting and CFO. Her final corporate role was as a Securitization Officer where she served for eight years on Project Management teams originating credit card portfolios that included creation of complex reporting to investors and implementation of highly secure websites for product offerings.

Arlene also volunteers with local animal rescue groups where she fosters dogs and assists with their adoption process.

Meghan is the Marketing Manager for Technical Resource Solutions, LLC (TRS). Her primary goal is to be sure that TRS is presented to the world in such a way that clients and non-clients alike understand the benefits and value we can bring to their business. Meghan has a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia and more than 10 years of professional experience working with both large and small companies in public and private sectors in a handful of different industries. This wide breadth of business knowledge helps her position the company for growth.

Before joining TRS, Meghan most recently worked in business development, helping a doctor's office double their size to become a $3.5+ million dollar company in less than 2 years, and launched a not-for-profit apparel company with a purely organic reach of more than 5,000 followers in their first 18 months. Earlier in her career, she focused on automation and internal process improvement for a healthcare managed services company, successfully proving more than $250,000 in savings in a single fiscal year.

In her spare time, Meghan loves to be outside, exploring and camping with her husband, Kris and their adorable dog, Bella.

Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

Scott is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Technical Resource Solutions, LLC (TRS). His primary role is Director of Technology and works within both the Information Technology (IT) and Web divisions of the business. Scott obtained his Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and has a wide variety of experience including mainframe programming, end-user training, network design/implementation, desktop & server support and website development. His certifications include A+, Microsoft® Certified Professional (MCP) and Microsoft® Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); Scott was the first Joomla! Certified Administrator in the United States. Regardless of the business size or industry, his extensive background enables him to accurately assess IT needs, implement appropriate strategies for applying technology, and achieve positive results. Scott strives not only to correct existing problems and provide well-planned solutions, but also to educate business owners and staff so they can be more productive. Scott has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology.

David Lee

Senior Technology Specialist

David is our Senior Technology Specialist and he has been with us since 2012. He has managed computer networks since 2005 using Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory domain services. David describes himself as being patient, quiet and reserved. When asked about the best skills he brings to his job, he says he listens to the client when they explain their needs and is able to identify a solution and explain that solution in a way the client can understand, without getting too technical.

David does not mind pitching in or lending a helping hand and feels his colleagues find him “knowledgeable and glad to teach.” As far as a personal motto, he says he does not really have a personal motto, nor has ever considered one. His main cause in life is that of Wildlife Conservation, and his No. 1 item on his Bucket List is to see all 48 states in a single road trip. He notes that most people don’t know he enjoys cooking and when asked what people will most remember about him he says that once people know his age, their general response is that he looks so young.

Website Administrator

Jennifer is our Website Administrator. She worked with us on a part-time basis between 2010 and 2016 and is now with us full-time. Jennifer is certified in CPR and is also a certified substitute teacher. She has a collective background of 5 years in office/website administration. Jennifer describes herself as being kind, genuine and creative. When asked about the best skills she brings to her job, she says she is persistent, organized and carefully listens to exactly what people want.

She feels her colleagues think of her as a kind, coffee loving individual. As far as what her motto would be, she responded, “It all happens for a reason.” When it comes to believing in a cause, she is quoted as saying it’s “CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). CASA allows volunteers to be court appointed advocates for abused or neglected children. The volunteers are appointed by judges to watch over and support the children to make sure they don’t get “lost” in the legal and social service system. This is so important—it gives children a much-needed voice that otherwise could easily be lost in the shuffle. In a life that could easily become very inconsistent, having someone be a constant is imperative to making life seem as stable as possible.”

Her Bucket List is to visit all the places on her Bucket List such as Italy, Greece, Yosemite National Park, Mammoth Lakes, Redwood National Park, Ireland … to name a few. She notes that most people don’t know that she has practiced photography for over 8 years, and when asked what people will most remember about her she says that she has a friendly personality.

  • Monitoring allows us to remotely track laptops, desktops, and servers to be sure that they are working properly and when they aren't. We are notified and can act on the issues rather than waiting for an end-user to report that there is a problem.

Hourly ad-hoc IT Services

  • This agreement is for ad-hoc IT Support and Consulting.

  • No long term commitment is required. 

  • Services that are provided will be invoiced as per the current hourly rates and terms of this agreement.

Optional Services:

Managed Backups Addendum

  • This addendum to the above Service Agreements is for Remote Backup Services; an IT Services Agreement or a Managed IT Services Agreement is required.

  • A 30 Day cancellation is required.

  • Services that are provided will be invoiced monthly in arrears as per the current rates and terms of this agreement.

IT Remote Monitoring Addendum
